Why Your Corporate Mission Is Important - and How to Define It

Continuing with our "Four Cornerstones of Business Success" series, this article looks at the first cornerstone, corporate mission.

While creating and having a "mission statement" is all the rage in some business management conversations, the importance of a company's mission is much greater than for use in marketing content.

Reviewed in this article are what corporate missions and mission statements are and are not, as well as an example of a successful corporate mission statement and questions to ask when creating a mission statement.
