FAQs

Do you replace our CPA firm?

Your CPA firm and your dedicated CFO Edge partner provide complementary services, and we do not replace your CPA firm. For example, your CPA firm may prepare and file your taxes or audit your financials, while we offer tax strategy and audit preparation services. We greatly appreciate our business relationships with area CPA firms. Many have referred work to us, and we have referred work to them.

Where do you deliver services?

Most of our clients are in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, California. We also provide services in the Southern California area running from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Engagements with clients sometimes include travel to other states. For example, a Los Angeles public company acquired a company on the East Coast, and our post-acquisition accounting services included work on-site at the acquired company’s location.

How often will your junior firm members work with us?

We’re different from many professional financial services firms in that your dedicated CFO partner delivers services personally and in a hands-on manner.

We recognize that executives prefer to work directly and continuously with one partner whose senior expertise has been earned and proven over many successful engagements.

Also unlike other firms, we do not have junior firm members who work on client accounts. With advance discussion and your approval, we sometimes bring in a financial professional with proven expertise in a specific area. Working under our guidance, a professional of this nature is a cost-effective resource for focused, time-limited tasks. Examples of resources like this include a controller or a senior accountant.
