  Article Summary
With passage of the American Taxpayer Relief Act on New Year’s Day, business leaders are coming away with a combination of good news and bad news for themselves and for their companies.

This article reviews the pros and cons of tax code changes along with potential impact. Also addressed are five business extenders: the R&D tax credit, Section 179 expensing, bonus depreciation, energy tax credits, and the work opportunity tax credit.
